Free Introduction Kit from @COMSOL

Multiphysics Kit
Today’s scientific and engineering requirements are increasing the need for faster and more accurate simulations of your processes and designs. A wider number of factors need to be considered, often described by different sets of equations or physics that are intricately coupled to each other – Multiphysics.
This CD introduces you to the concept of Multiphysics Modeling and the ever important place it has in today’s modeling community.
The audio-visual demonstrations on this CD describe:
An Introduction to Multiphysics Modeling The features of COMSOL Multiphysics Creating and importing geometries Multiphysics and the Model Navigator User-defined and interactive meshing Using and fine-tuning the solvers Postprocessing your results
Acoustics Simulations Kit
The classical field of acoustics simulations involves the modeling of acoustic-wave propagation in air and water, as well as solids. Yet, other physics, such as structural mechanics in acoustic-structure interaction, or electromagnetics, often need to be incorporated to adequately simulate devices such as loudspeakers orSONAR transducers. This CD shows how a number of acoustics-based applications can be simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics and the Acoustics Module.
The audio-visual demonstrations on this CD describe:
Classical acoustics modeling Acoustic-structure interaction Multiphysics modeling in a loudspeaker Aeroacoustics
RF Simulations Kit
Modeling in RF, microwave and optical engineering requires resolving the scale of the transmitting device and the wavelength, while capturing effects such as radiation into free space and far-field asymptotic behavior of the electromagnetic field. The RF Module offers you the tools to meet this challenge, and the examples on this CD will introduce you to these, as well as how simulations can be run in the different application areas within RF modeling.
Extracting the S-parameter matrix from a full model of a microwave component Multiphysics modeling in a microwave filter Antenna modeling Microwave heating
AC/DC Simulations Kit
The performance of capacitors, inductors, motors, and microsensors are best optimized through first simulating their behavior in their surrounding environments. Although this is principally characterized by electromagnetics, there are also contributing effects from other types of physics. The AC/DC Module and COMSOLMultiphysics are ideal for such simulations.
The audio-visual demonstrations on this CD describe:
Electronic components and coupling these to circuit modeling Modeling the rotating machinery in a generator Multiphysics modeling through inductive heating
Introduction to Chemical Engineering Simulations
This CD introduces you to Chemical Engineering simulations and the multiphysics advantage. Narrated tutorials show the modeling and simulation of coupled physics phenomena including chemical reactions, fluid flow, mass transfer and more.
Application Areas Covered
Electrochemical Engineering Process Engineering Reaction Processes Separation Transport Phenomena
